Unlike classic backup software like our Backup-2006 Pro or Synchronizer, the disk image tool is not based on file but on disk clusters. The program reads block of clusters and saves it into a file (image file) or directly to another disk partition (replicate partition). Backup-2006 disk image allows you to create compressed or uncompressed image file.You can choose the compression algorithm (zlib, PPM, bzip) and the compression level.
